Mario Toukan

Mr. Toukan plays a leading role in all aspects of the firm’s investment strategy and execution.

Mr. Toukan serves on the Board of Directors of Techmer, NuCera, Tilley Chemical, Canlak, CCR Chemicals and Smart Chemicals.

Prior to SK Capital, Mr. Toukan spent 20 years as an investment banker focused on the chemicals sector, including substantial complex carve out, privately held and public company experience. Mr. Toukan most recently served as global head of chemicals and materials at KeyBanc Capital Markets. Since assuming the leadership role at KeyBanc in 2012, he built one of the most reputable chemical advisory groups in the market, completing approximately $15 billion in M&A transaction value over a 6 year period and consistently being ranked among the top middle market firms focused on the chemicals sector. Mr. Toukan began his career with a Big 5 accounting and consultancy firm.

Mr. Toukan graduated summa cum laude from the Fisher College of Business at the Ohio State University.
