Wonsik Shin currently serves as the Head of the Investment Finance team at SK ecoplant, a position held since July 2010, where significant achievements include securing a TES bridge loan of $675 million, acquisition financing totaling $350 million, and a financial investment of $280 million, alongside project financing for the Bloom Energy acquisition and involvement in major projects such as the Silvertown tunnel in London, valued at £1.2 billion, and the Goseong Green Power project estimated at 5 trillion KRW. Prior to this role, Wonsik Shin worked as an engineer at Samsung Electronics from February 2002 to June 2008, contributing to R&D for DRAM and NOR flash memory products. Wonsik Shin holds an MBA in Finance from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and has both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Seoul National University in Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, respectively.
