Eric Wong has a significant amount of experience in the semiconductor industry. Eric started their career in 2008 as a Design Verification Engineer at Micron Technology, where they focused on verifying NAND Flash memories and Micron's ClearNand Flash memory controller. During their time there, they also developed Verilog models for NAND and NOR memories that were publicly released on the company website.
In 2012, Eric joined Western Digital as a Senior Staff Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for verifying hardware-accelerated enterprise SSD SOC. Eric also maintained the UVM environment for block level and subsystem level verification and provided assistance to the FPGA, Firmware, and top-level teams during initial bring-up and debug.
Since 2014, Eric has been working at SK hynix memory solutions inc. as a Senior Staff Engineer. Eric'smain responsibilities include the development and verification of enterprise SSD back-end FIL Firmware. Eric also implements, validates, and performs performance analysis of NAND defensive algorithms. Previously, they were involved in UVM verification of enterprise SSD SOC.

Eric Wong attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics.
