Tuyen D. Nguyen, PMP

Tuyen D. Nguyen, PMP has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Tuyen D. began their career at International Microcircuit Incorporated as an ASIC Application Engineer from August 1983 to May 1987. Tuyen D. then worked at Arrow Electronics as a Senior ASIC Application Engineer from June 1987 to June 1989, where they collaborated with field sales and ASIC vendors. Tuyen joined Texas Instruments in October 1989 as a Member Group Technical Staff, providing technical support to TIER1 customers. Tuyen D. later became a Design Lead, leading technical activities on SOC business and managing complete project schedules. In June 2002, Tuyen became the ASIC Design Center Manager, where they managed a team of up to 12 direct reports and contractors. Tuyen D. also worked closely with Sales and Marketing teams to win ASIC business. Tuyen joined SanDisk in January 2007 as a Senior Engineering Program Manager V, formalizing requirements gathering and approval processes. Tuyen D. planned, controlled, and monitored ASIC projects, implementing risk and change management. Currently, Tuyen is employed at SK hynix memory solutions inc. as a Senior Program Manager since February 2014, responsible for the execution of PCIe NVMe Enterprise class SSD product. Tuyen D. successfully managed the NVMe/PCIe controller ASIC and led cross-functional teams to deliver a successful product. Throughout their career, Tuyen has shown expertise in project management, technical support, and customer engagement.

Tuyen D. Nguyen, PMP, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer & System Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. They have also obtained several additional certifications, including Artificial Intelligence for Project Managers, Become an Agile Project Manager, Developing Your Emotional Intelligence, and Mastering Microsoft Project Graphical Reports from Lynda.com. In addition, Tuyen obtained the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Program Management Institute in March 2012.
