Heidi E. Rodrigues

Heidi E. Rodrigues has extensive experience in the field of clinical research and project management. Heidi E. began their career in 1991 as an Associate Director of Clinical Research Services at Health & Sciences Research Services, where they administered and provided clinical and scientific resources for the East Coast office. Heidi E. then worked as an Independent Consultant, providing support for scientific and administrative clinical research operations for pharmaceutical, biotechnology companies, and CROs. In 1995, they joined Novartis as a Clinical Trials Manager/Research Scientist, where they developed protocols and Case Report Forms and coordinated Phase I-III oncology clinical trials. Heidi E. also prepared annual IND Safety Summaries and managed teams to ensure timely execution of trials. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as the Director of Clinical Projects at Kern-McNeill International, where they managed contracted research projects and integrated resources to implement clinical programs. At Organon Pharmaceuticals, they held the roles of Manager and Associate Director of Phase IV Clinical Trials, responsible for defining clinical research options for marketing strategies and integrating Phase IV trials with marketing objectives. Heidi E. also negotiated project support budgets. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Schering-Plough Research Institute as a Senior Project Manager, implementing global Phase IV clinical studies for the hepatitis therapeutic area. At Merck, they worked as a Business Performance Specialist, providing project management expertise and leading the development of the company's Clinical Trial Process Model. From 2012 to 2016, they served as a Clinical Trial Head at Novartis, accountable for global Phase I-IV clinical studies in the oncology/endocrinology and immunotherapy fields, and overseeing operational management and career development of clinical managers. Currently, they hold the position of Clinical Trial Head at SK Life Science, Inc. where they are responsible for clinical trial protocols, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring trial deliverables are met.

Heidi E. Rodrigues holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Public Health Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they earned from 2010 to 2014. Their undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (BA), was obtained at Douglass College, Rutgers University, New Jersey, with a major in Microbiology. Additionally, Heidi completed 12 credits towards a Master's in Management Sciences from the Stevens Institute of Technology. Heidi E. also obtained a certification in Core Public Health Concepts from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in May 2010.
