Sean Coughlin

Sean Coughlin has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Sean is currently working as a Corporate Account Director at SK Life Science, Inc. starting from November 2022. Prior to this, Sean was employed at Amarin Corporation from January 2019 to October 2022, where they held the positions of Director of National Accounts and National Director of Regional Accounts.

Before joining Amarin Corporation, Sean worked at Fresenius Medical Care North America as a National Account Director from May 2016 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for negotiating and securing appropriate product access with National and Regional plans on the East Coast. Sean also collaborated with field sales to analyze their regions strategically and identify selling opportunities.

Sean's career began at Daiichi Sankyo, where they held various roles over the years. From September 2007 to December 2015, they served as a Regional Account Manager, providing account services to payers and accountable care organizations throughout New York City metro and CT. In this role, they successfully negotiated contracts, implemented formulary strategies, and facilitated new product launches. Earlier, Sean worked as a District Manager from 2004 to 2007, leading a team of sales representatives and providing field training. Sean also worked as a Specialty Sales Representative from 2003 to 2004 and as a Sales Representative from 2000 to 2002 in Daiichi Sankyo.

Before joining Daiichi Sankyo, Sean worked as a Project Manager at Informatioin Resources, Inc. from 1998 to 2000. Sean also gained valuable experience at James River Corporation (now Georgia Pacific acquisition) from 1993 to 1997, where they held various roles including Business Analyst, Sales Analyst, Continuous Replenishment Coordinator, and Account Coordinator.

Sean Coughlin obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Resources Management and Psychology from King's College, where they studied from 1988 to 1992.
