Spencer Krause

Spencer Krause has a long history of working in the robotics and engineering field. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Research Programmer at Case Western Reserve University, a Consultant at InfinitM, and the Founder and Head of Operations at Ideas In Motion. In 2012, they became a Computer Science Tutor at the University of Pittsburgh. From 2013 to 2015, they were an IT Systems Engineering Intern at SpaceX, a Robotics Contract Engineer at Joy Global Inc., and a Visiting Researcher at the Carnegie Mellon University Field Robotics Center. In 2016, they became President & CEO of SKA | Custom Robots and Machines, where they helped companies solve deep technical problems, oversaw business development and operations, and led internal and client-driven product development. In 2021, they became the Director of Advanced Projects at Formlogic.

Spencer Krause began their educational journey in 2008 at Case Western Reserve University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering and Business in 2011. Spencer then enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh, where they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science and Business in 2013. Spencer also spent one year as a Visiting Student at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they earned a Master's Degree in Robotics Systems Development from Carnegie Mellon University in 2015.
