Ian Blechschmidt

Ian Blechschmidt is a seasoned instructional designer and educator with extensive experience in developing engaging online courses and enhancing communication skills across various settings. Currently serving as a Technology Learning & Development Instructional Designer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, Ian has previously held senior instructional roles at the American Hospital Association and Everspring Inc. Additionally, Ian has contributed to academia as a lecturer and mentor at Northwestern University and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, focusing on communication effectiveness and civic engagement. With a PhD in Communication Studies from Northwestern University, Ian has also coached leadership and communication skills across diverse populations, from executives to students.
