Matthew Vaughn has diversified work experience in the healthcare industry. Matthew started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2015. During this time, they also served as a Research Study Coordinator and Undergraduate Principal Investigator. In 2015, Matthew worked as a Graduate Intern in Medical Affairs at Centene Corporation.

From 2014 to 2019, Matthew held various roles at CHI Franciscan Health. Matthew began as an Administrative Intern in 2014 and later became a Patient Account Representative and Facility Lead & Special Projects. In 2016, they worked as an Administrative Fellow before transitioning to the role of Operations Manager in the Orthopedic Service Line.

Currently, Matthew is working at Skagit Regional Health as a Finance Manager, a position they have held since 2019. Matthew was recently promoted to the role of Regional Director - Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) in July 2023. Matthew'sexperience and expertise in financial planning and healthcare operations make him a valuable asset in the industry.

Matthew Vaughn has a strong educational background in the field of healthcare and public health. Matthew obtained a Masters of Healthcare Administration (MHA) and Masters of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Washington from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Certificate in Clinical Trials from the same university in 2012-2013. In their undergraduate years from 2007 to 2011, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology with Honors and Economics. Matthew Vaughn also holds the certification of Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), obtained in June 2020.
