Albert Vermue

Albert Vermue holds extensive experience in water management and agricultural policy. Currently serving as a member of the advisory council at Wageningen Marine Research and as director of environment policy at VNG, Vermue also holds board positions at Skal Biocontrole and HAS Hogeschool. Formerly, Vermue was the Secretary General of EUWMA and General Director of the Unie van Waterschappen, advocating for regional water authorities. With a robust background at the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, Vermue's roles included Director for Fisheries and Deputy Director for International Affairs, where responsibilities spanned the Common Agricultural Policy and international negotiations. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from Wageningen University & Research and various executive programs from notable institutions.
