Jay Hetland has over 30 years of work experience in engineering roles. Jay started their career at Mirro Co. in 1981 as a Sr. Plant Engineer and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2009, they worked at Koenig & VIts as a Sr. Plant Engineer. Since 2010, they have been working at Skana Aluminum Co. as a Sr. Operations Engineer.
Jay Hetland earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from UW Stout, where they attended from 1976 to 1980. In 2001, they pursued further education at MSOE through night coursework, concentrating on engineering. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2010, Jay obtained a Project Management Certificate from the Wisconsin School of Business, specializing in project management. Additionally, they engaged in continuing education in engineering at UW Manitowoc Extension from 2003 to 2005.
