Dragos Obogeanu

Dragos Obogeanu has over 10 years of experience in the IT sector. In 2011, they began their career as a Department Manager at Lastdon INC SRL. In 2016, they completed an Internship at Vibetrace. In 2017, they joined Cegeka Romania as a Linux Support Engineer, where they co-operated with the Linux 2nd level team to deliver technical support to the clients using ITIL methodology. Dragos oversaw the maintenance and configuration of over 1300+ servers, including RedHat, CentOS, and Suse. In 2018, they joined Webhelp as a Google Cloud Platform - Technical Solutions Representative, where they were tasked to collaborate with the infra team to conduct root cause analysis, identify and resolve complex issues, navigate through ambiguous situations, and collect relevant information. Dragos led the troubleshooting of systems or applications and multiple technologies to ensure smooth functionality and avoid operational delays. In 2022, they joined Cydar Medical as a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer.

Dragos Obogeanu obtained a High School Diploma from Colegiul Tehnic Forestier, Ramnicu Valcea (România) in 2006, having studied Mathematics and Computer Science. Dragos also obtained a Certificate of Professional Competence in the same institution in the same year, demonstrating competent computer skills and competence level programming environment. In 2009, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Finance-Banking (Domestic and International Commercial and Financial-Banking Relations) from Universitatea Româno-Americână din București. Dragos then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Economics and International Business from the same university, which they completed in 2011. In addition, Dragos has obtained several certifications, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, RHCSA from Red Hat in 2017, and Linux Basic from Academia Credis in 2016.
