Sam Hewlings

Sam Hewlings is an experienced professional in Learning & Development and Human Resources, currently serving as L&D and HR Business Partner for Skanska's Infrastructure business since September 2024. Prior to this role, Sam held positions at Morgan Sindall Infrastructure as Diversity and Inclusion Manager and at Lower Thames Crossing as Culture & Inclusion Lead. Sam's career began at Morgan Sindall, where responsibilities included Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager and Graduate Tunnel Design Engineer. Additional experience includes serving as President's Apprentice at the Institution of Civil Engineers, co-founding Sport Allies, and holding various leadership roles at the University of Warwick. Sam's educational background includes an MSc in Organisational Psychology from Birkbeck, an MSc in Tunnelling & Underground Space, and a BEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Warwick.
