Lorina Escudero is a seasoned professional in retail design and architecture with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as the Director of Design & Architecture at Skechers since August 2018, Lorina leads a team responsible for developing innovative design concepts and successfully opening 200-300 stores annually in alignment with brand standards. Prior to this, Lorina held the position of Assistant Vice President of Design at Macerich from November 2008 to August 2018, overseeing retail design for a portfolio of 85 class A malls across 15 states and managing departmental workflows. Lorina's career at Macerich began as a Senior Tenant Coordinator/Project Manager, where efficient collaboration and project management were key to the timely opening of tenant businesses in 12 class A malls. Lorina holds a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture from California State University, Northridge.
