Nicholas Wan

Nicholas Wan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Nicholas started their career in 2006 at Flight Centre as a contractor for Microsoft Outlook roll-out. Nicholas then joined Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, in 2006 and worked as a Test Engineer until 2011 when they were promoted to Senior Test Engineer. In 2013, they joined SilverRail Technologies as a Senior Quality Engineer and stayed with the company until 2017. From 2017, they have been working at Skedulo, starting as a Senior QA Automation Engineer and progressing to roles like Quality Assurance Team Lead, Engineering Lead, Product Quality Manager, Engineering Manager, and Senior Engineering Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering (Australia) at Skedulo.

Nicholas Wan holds a Master's degree in Science (Computer Science) from The University of Queensland, which they obtained in 2006. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the same university in 2005. In 2004, they also pursued a Diploma in Information Technology from Charles Sturt University, which they completed in 2002. Furthermore, Nicholas Wan has obtained several certifications, including Scrum PSM I from Scrum.org in 2016, ISTQB Software Testing Advanced Technical Test Analyst Certification from ANZTB in 2012, and ISTQB Software Testing Foundation Certification from ANZTB in 2009.
