Stephen Konkin

Stephen Konkin is a seasoned professional in the mining and construction industries, currently serving as General Manager for Eskay Creek at Skeena Resources Limited since April 2023. Prior to this role, Stephen held positions such as Principal of Tailings Dam Construction at Newcrest Mining and Manager of Projects at Minto Metals Corp. Stephen's extensive experience includes senior roles at Lake Excavating Ltd., Finning, and Ledcor, among others, where responsibilities encompassed project management, engineering, and quality assurance. Stephen began their career with a Bachelor's Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from The University of British Columbia and gained practical experience as an Operations Engineering Student at Suncor Energy and a Teaching Assistant in mining courses at UBC.
