Dan Zerzan began their work experience as a Barista at Starbucks Coffee Company in 2005. Dan then worked as a Game Tester at EA before joining Vertical Communications as a Software Engineer from 2006 to 2011. During this time, they built client and serverside applications and worked with C++ and multithreaded services for the Windows server platform. In 2011, they worked as a Software Engineer at Klicknation before transitioning to Electronic Arts as a Software Engineer III. At EA, they worked on client side gameplay and AI, collaborated on large IPs, and conducted rapid gameplay/mechanics prototyping. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Combat Lead and Senior Gameplay Engineer at NCSOFT. Dan then worked at Skydance Media as a Senior Gameplay Engineer from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Cloud Chamber as the Principal 3Cs Design Engineer until 2023. In 2023, they moved to Imagendary Studios as the Lead Combat Systems Designer before becoming the Lead Combat Designer at Skeleton Key later that year.
