James Cheng is an experienced Automation Engineer with a solid background in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently employed at Skellig since August 2021, James has developed batch and non-batch HMI on Ignition for Rockwell PlantPAx DCS systems while also representing the Automation Team at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines. Prior to this, James served as the Automation Validation Lead at Pfizer's C. diff multi-product facility, where responsibilities included assessing and qualifying documentation generation tools for DeltaV specifications. James began the professional journey as a Research and Development Intern at Uni-President Corporation and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, where a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering was obtained.
