Lauren Bauer

Lauren Bauer has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Lauren started their career at Pepper Construction Group in 2012 as a Project Management Intern, where they estimated quantity takeoffs, prepared budgets, and participated in scope review meetings. After completing their internship, they became an Assistant Project Engineer at Pepper Construction Group from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they gained experience in project coordination and management. Lauren then transitioned to the Preconstruction Department, where they produced detailed takeoff quantities and cost-effective estimates for high-rise buildings, higher education institutions, and hospitals. Lauren also managed and presented job estimates during each document development stage, and coordinated with architects and owners for budget reconciliation. From 2017 to 2019, Lauren served as a Project Manager at Pepper Construction Group, where they continued to develop their project management skills and oversaw various construction projects, including the Lake Forest College Science Center and the Maryville Academy Nurses Station Renovation. Since 2019, Lauren has been working at Skender as a Senior Project Manager, further utilizing their project management expertise.

Lauren Bauer attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
