Taylor Teets

Taylor Teets has had a diverse range of work experiences. In 2012, they started their career as a Substitute Teacher at LaPorte Community School Corporation, where they worked until 2016. After that, they interned as an Event Management Intern at Ritz Charles in 2016. Later that year, Taylor joined Marriott Hotels as a Catering Sales Manager and then transitioned to an Event Sales Manager role. In 2017, they moved to Adecco and held two positions: Executive Search Consultant and Social Media Manager. At Adecco, they managed social campaigns, monitored social media channels, and contributed to reporting and analytics. In 2019, Taylor joined Skender as a Project Coordinator - Interiors and worked until 2020. They then worked as a Recruitment Coordinator at Clayco from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Taylor is back at Skender, where they started as a Project Coordinator and are now a Senior Project Coordinator.

Taylor Teets began their education at LaPorte High School, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Core40 Academic Honors. After completing high school, Taylor attended Purdue University from 2012 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. In addition to their formal education, Taylor has acquired various certifications to enhance their professional skills. These certifications include Procore Certified: Project Manager at GC (Preconstruction) from Procore Technologies in August 2021, Event Planning Standards Certification from Marriott International in January 2017, Marriott Wedding Planner Certification from Marriott International in August 2016, Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics from AHLEI - American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute in April 2016, Level 1 Sommelier Certification from The Court of Master Sommeliers in April 2016, and ServSafe Food Handler for Managers from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) in June 2015.
