Hendrik-Jan Van Gucht

Hendrik-Jan Van Der Gucht is a highly experienced professional in the field of aviation and drone technology, currently serving as Managing Director at SkeyDrone since March 2020. Previously, Van Der Gucht held the position of Vice Chairman at the Belgian Civil Drone Council and worked at skeyes in various roles, including Innovation Manager, Operations, Technology & Innovation Manager, Head of Public Affairs, and Senior Project Leader, where Van Der Gucht oversaw complex airport surveillance projects. Additionally, Van Der Gucht served as Vice Chairman of the CANSO EU SESAR DM Task Force and managed ATM surveillance and navigation systems for the Belgian Defence. An academic background includes multiple degrees, such as an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School and a Master of Science in engineering from the Royal Military Academy Brussels, among others.
