Chamari Gunawardhana

Chamari Gunawardhana is a Laboratory Engineer at SKF Group since June 2023, where over 4,200 analytical tests have been conducted. Prior experience includes roles as a Laboratory Demonstrator at the Open University of Sri Lanka from March 2021 to August 2022, focusing on research experiments in textile technology and coordinating laboratory activities. Additional experience encompasses working as a Quality Assurance Executive at Hirdaramani Group, providing quality inspections and collaborating on quality assurance processes, as well as a Management Trainee at A&R Textilproduktion GmbH, where production workflow was coordinated, and efficiency improvements were identified. Chamari's earlier roles as a Textile Engineering Intern at South Asia Textiles Limited and Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd involved quality assessments and laboratory analyses. Chamari holds a Bachelor of Technology Hons. in Textile and Clothing Engineering from the Open University of Sri Lanka, completed in 2019.
