Christine Matta has extensive experience in sustainability and research, currently serving as the Sustainability Program Manager and R&D Project Manager at SKF Groupe since November 2013. In this role, Christine leads and manages R&D projects focused on improving energy efficiency and prolonging bearing life through innovative solutions, including the use of artificial intelligence. Prior to this, Christine held various research positions at TOTAL/CNRS/Centrale Innovation-France, Argonne National Laboratory, Ecole Centrale de Lyon, and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, concentrating on sustainable technologies, materials, coatings, and lubricants in the automotive sector. Christine earned a PhD in Material Science from Centrale Lyon, along with Master's degrees in Metabolism-Endocrinology-Nutrition and Chemistry and Biochemistry from relevant universities.
