Jeffrey Smithanik

Jeffrey Smithanik is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the engineering field. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at SKF Group since July 2024, Jeffrey previously held prominent positions at Attabotics Inc. from May 2018 to September 2024, including Manager of Robot Development and Mechanical Engineering Team Lead. Prior experience includes serving as Mechanical Engineering Manager and Mechanical Engineer at SKF Magnetic Bearings from September 2005 to May 2018, and as a Mechanical Engineer at MPR Associates, Inc. from 2004 to 2005. Jeffrey holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Space Systems from the University of Maryland and a dual Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering and Humanities from the University of Calgary.
