Signe Lynggaard Madsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and organizations. Signe Lynggaard served as the CEO and later as the Acting Managing Director at SKI - Staten og Kommunernes Indkøbsservice A/S from 2010 to 2011. In 2018, they joined the Ministry of Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs as a member of the Forum for Udbud, where they provided recommendations and solutions for improving public procurement. Also in 2018, they became a member of the IT Project Council at Københavns Kommune. In 2019, they joined KL as a member of their Bank Council, focusing on governance principles and expectations between municipalities and banks. Prior to these roles, Signe worked at Finansministeriet, starting as a Fuldmægtig in 2000 and later serving as a Special- and Chefkonsulent and a Kontorchef until 2010.
Signe Lynggaard Madsen attended the University of Copenhagen from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained a cand.scient.pol degree in statskundskab (political science).
