Bill Emerson

Bill Emerson is vice-chairman of Rock Holdings, Inc., the nation’s largest online home loan lender and second-largest retail mortgage lender. Bill joined the company in 1993 as a mortgage banker. His passion and commitment for learning and growing and his zeal for taking care of clients helped him take on many roles at the company.

He serves on several boards and committees serving the housing industry and his community. These include the Mortgage Bankers Association (vice-chair and incoming chair), Financial Services Roundtable’s Housing Policy Council, Xenith, Inc., the Detroit Economic Club, the Detroit Parade Company, and The Skillman Foundation. His honors have included the ALS Association’s Iron Horse Award and the Salvation Army’s William Booth Award. Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Penn State University.
