Steven George

Steven George has over 20 years of experience in the technology and production industries. Steven began their career in 1995 as Lead Technician, Audio Visual and Lighting for Arena Production Services. In 1996, they worked as Production Manager for Queenscliff Music Festival. Steven then joined Music Workshop in 2000 as Operations Manager. From 2006 to 2012, Steven George worked at Deakin University, first as Senior Applications Lead and then as Web Application Developer. From 2012 to 2014, they were Manager, Business Optimisation Services and Manager, Information Delivery Systems at Edith Cowan University. In 2014, they rejoined Skills Base as Managing Director. In 2018, they joined Educrowd as Chief Technology Officer and, in 2020, they returned to Skills Base as Head of Product and Chief Technology Officer.

Steven George completed their Executive MBA at Melbourne Business School in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Information Technology with Distinction from Deakin University, majoring in Computer Science and Software Development. In 2004, they obtained a Certificate in Business Management from The Gordon. Steven also holds various certifications, including TOGAF 9 Certified Enterprise Architecture Practitioner from The Open Group (2014), Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner from Prosci (2013), PRINCE2 Project Management from APMG-International (2010), Agile Project Management from The Agile Academy (2010), Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Professional from Oracle (2007), ITIL Certificate in IT Service Management from Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB) (2007), Tandberg Certified TMS Specialist from TANDBERG (2006), Certified JavaScript Master from Experts Exchange (2005), and Zend Certified Engineer from Zend Technologies.
