Linsay Lochans MCIPD has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. From 2001 to 2006, they served as an HR and Training Manager at DJH Restaurants Ltd, overseeing HR and training for a multi-site McDonald's franchise organization. Linsay also acted as a qualified Assessor and Verifier, providing external verification services to other organizations.

In 2010, Linsay worked as a Research Supervisor at ScotCash Project, managing a team of researchers and conducting social finance research on lending habits in socially deprived areas of Glasgow.

From 2011 to 2013, they served as a HR Consultant for R34 Restaurant, assisting in the development of people processes and policies to accommodate the organization's expansion. Linsay also took on the role of Regional HR Advisor at Robertson Facilities Management during this period, providing operational support and assistance to designated regions, including managing employee relations, recruitment, absence management, TUPE processes, and inductions.

Linsay then worked as an HR Business Partner at SR Technics Group from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they collaborated with senior management to provide consultancy and guidance, supporting the organization's operational delivery objectives.

From 2015 to 2016, Linsay served as an ER and Engagement Manager at The Gleneagles Hotel, responsible for employee relations and engagement initiatives.

Lastly, Linsay joined Skills Development Scotland in 2016 and has since held various roles within the organization. Currently, they serve as the Head of HR, where they lead the HR department and collaborates with directors to develop and implement an annual people plan aligned with the organization's corporate objectives.

Linsay Lochans MCIPD began their education by earning a Level 4 VQ in Learning and Development from Training Matters in 2003-2004. Linsay then went on to pursue a BA Honours degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Strathclyde from 2007-2011. Later, Linsay continued their education at the same institution, earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from 2012-2014.
