Lorie Smith

Lorie Smith, MHRM, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Lorie is currently serving as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Skills of Central Pennsylvania since July 2018. Previously, Lorie held the position of Director of Human Resources at Nason Hospital from February 2009 to September 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Human Resources at Choices People Supporting People from June 2005 to May 2009. Lorie also has experience at Seton Company as a Senior Human Resources Administrator from August 2000 to June 2005 and as a Human Resources Coordinator from August 1998 to August 2000.

Lorie Smith, MHRM, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Masters degree in Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations from Saint Francis University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania between 1995 and 1997. Lorie also holds an Associates degree in General Studies/Business Administration from Allegheny College, which they achieved from 1993 to 1995.
