Jennifer DeRosa, Ph.D.

Jennifer DeRosa, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent position as a Project Manager at SkillSource Learning Partners in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as an Assistant Project Lead, where they assisted in project planning, implementation, and testing phases. During their time at Skill Source Learning Partners in 2021, Jennifer served as an Interpersonal Skills Rater, analyzing and resolving over 3,000 hours of recorded audio and transcriptions. Jennifer utilized Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scales (BARS) to rate interpersonal skill levels for an e-commerce client and conducted comparative analysis against standardized ratings to ensure accuracy.

In 2022, Jennifer interned at Organizational Empowerment 501(c)3, where they applied IO psychological theories and practices in the healthcare sector. Jennifer created a valid and reliable measure to assess job satisfaction and developed an employee engagement initiative for a community-based hospital, leading to decreased turnover and improved satisfaction scores.

Before their career in project management and psychology, Jennifer worked at G5 Miami from 2014 to 2019 as a Bartender and Bar Manager. In this role, they established and managed a professional hospitality team, oversaw recruitment and training, and made data-based decisions regarding bar traffic and demographics.

Jennifer DeRosa, Ph.D. completed their education at Keiser University. Jennifer earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from 2016 to 2019. Following that, they pursued further studies and received a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which they completed in 2020. Continuing on their academic journey, Jennifer recently completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Keiser University in 2022. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Social-Behavioral-Educational Research from the CITI Program in March 2022.
