Alessio Fabiani

Alessio Fabiani has extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Skimlinks since September 2014, where contributions include various engineering positions from Software Engineer to Tech Lead. Prior to Skimlinks, Alessio worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SPIKA, focusing on web-based solutions in an Agile environment, and co-founded Brieasy, an online tool for project requirement management. Additionally, Alessio has research experience from the University of Illinois at Chicago, creating publications in Semantic Web technologies and exploring machine learning applications while completing a Master's Thesis. Educational achievements include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, along with a high school diploma in Science.
