Heidi B. Prather M.d.

Heidi B. Prather, M.D., is a Cosmetic & Procedural Dermatologist at Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery since September 2015, specializing in facial and body aesthetics through custom treatment plans and combination therapies. Prather completed an ASDS Accredited Fellowship in Cosmetic, Laser, and Dermatologic Surgery at SkinCare Physicians, Inc., starting August 2014, after a residency in Dermatology at UPMC from July 2010 to June 2014. Earlier, Prather was an intern in Internal Medicine at UPMC and pursued a Doris Duke Research Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Prather holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center (2005-2010) and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University (1999-2003). Additionally, Prather has experience as an Associate Mechanical Engineer at St. Jude Medical, focusing on product development and safety testing for deep brain stimulation devices.
