Captain Derek Thompson

Captain Derek Thompson is a highly experienced USCG 100 Ton Captain with a strong background in yacht chartering and brokerage. Since February 2012, Captain Thompson has been serving as a captain and partner at Look Hot On My Yacht, focusing on delivering exceptional yacht charters in South Florida. Additionally, Thompson has been a yacht broker at SkipperBud's since August 2017 and has extensive experience with National Liquidators, specializing in sea trials and repossessions. Prior roles include sales and marketing at Goochs Powersports and an experienced closer at Southern Home Builders. Captain Thompson is a graduate of Lenawee Christian School, earning a diploma in 1998.
