Roy Frijters

Roy Frijters has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Roy is currently a Co-owner and Investor at NÖRDIC AB, a pure e-commerce player specializing in IT and mobile accessories. Roy is also the Co-Owner and Head of Platform at NÖRDIC AB, responsible for expanding the company's operations to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

Prior to their current role, Roy founded Movero Ventures AB, a consulting firm based in Stockholm. Roy served as the Founder and Senior Partner, specializing in driving results in uncertain futures and building online businesses.

Roy is also a co-founder and investor in Skipperi, a company focused on simplifying and promoting boating. Roy served as the Co-Founder and CEO of the Swedish branch, responsible for market entry and early growth.

In addition, Roy founded LifePincher AB, and had a significant role in Connecta as the Head of Strategic IT Practice, where they built a new team and offering focused on strategic IT implementation.

Before entering the consulting and entrepreneurial space, Roy gained experience as a Management Consultant at Accenture the Netherlands and worked as a Business Analyst at D-reizen and LOI.

Roy also had a sailing sabbatical with Global Yacht Racing, participating in yacht racing events worldwide.

Roy Frijters has a Master of Science degree in Business Systems Engineering, which they obtained from Delft University of Technology between 1997 and 2003. Prior to their university education, they attended Mgr. Frencken College from 1992 to 1997, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Gymnasium. In addition to their formal education, Roy also pursued a Swedish language course at Folkuniversitetet in 2010, completing various levels from A1 to B2-.

Alongside their education, Roy Frijters has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include being a Certified board member (Rätt fokus i styrelsearbetet) from StyrelseAkademien, obtained in September 2021. Roy is also a certified RYA Yachtmaster Ocean from the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), achieved in November 2009. Other certifications include Prince 2 Practitioner from Key Result in May 2005 and being a Rational Unified Process (RUP) certified analyst and project manager from IBM in 2004. Additionally, Roy holds certifications as a certified instructor in rescue swimming inshore waters and as a Certified Rescue Swimmer, both obtained from the Royal Dutch Water Life Saving Association in 1997 and 1995 respectively.
