Helen McGinty

Helen McGinty has extensive work experience in the financial and accounting sector. Helen started their career at Mazars, where they worked as a Chartered Accountant from September 1998 to October 2002. Helen then joined Skipton Building Society, where they held various roles including Group Accountant, Acting Head of Group Finance, Finance Team Lead, and Finance Lead for a merger. Helen later became the Head of Financial Control and Treasury Settlements, Head of Management Accounts and Costs, Head of Financial Advice Delivery, and Head of Delivery - Customer Distribution. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Financial Advice Distribution at Skipton Building Society.

Helen McGinty obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Business and Finance from the University of Bradford, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Helen also possesses additional certifications, including being Dare to Lead Trained and holding FCA and ACA qualifications from ICAEW, obtained in 2011 and 2001 respectively.
