Sheri Bernstein

Sheri Bernstein is an accomplished museum professional with extensive experience in educational programming and exhibition development. Since July 2010, Sheri has served as the Museum Director at Skirball Cultural Center, where responsibilities include leading the museum’s exhibition program and overseeing its collection. Previous roles at Skirball include Vice President and Director of Education and Visitor Experience, where strategic design and operations were managed, as well as Director of Education, overseeing programming for diverse audiences. Prior experience also includes significant contributions at Los Angeles County Museum of Art as an Exhibition Associate, coordinating a major historical exhibition, and roles at The Institute of Contemporary Art and Smithsonian American Art Museum. Sheri holds a B.A. in Art History from Yale University and an M.A. in Art History from Harvard University.
