Jay Sammons is the Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner of SKKY Partners. Together with Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, he is building the leading next generation private equity firm that invests in growth-oriented consumer and media businesses.

He is the former Global Head of Consumer, Media & Retail at the Carlyle Group.

Jay spent over 16 years at Carlyle, ultimately leading a global team with deep industry expertise in the consumer, media & retail space. During his tenure at the firm, Carlyle partnered with world-class companies across the sectors, such as Supreme, Beautycounter, Beats by Dr. Dre, Philosophy, Vogue International, Ithaca, Every Man Jack, Grupo Madero, Moncler, Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, Dunkin’ Brands, Nielsen and McDonald’s China.
