CLO - Chief Logistic Officer at Skladon

Max Kovář has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Max started their career as a self-employed person joiner at Truhlářství MERLIN, where they worked from February 2000 to July 2008. During this time, they were responsible for interior and exterior design proposals, procurement, and working with wood and construction materials.

In 2008, Max joined DHL Freight and held various roles within the company. Max started as a warehouseman, then became a shift leader warehouse from June 2010 to March 2012. Following that, they were promoted to team leader of transport in the plant, where they implemented outsourcing of internal transport and storage. Max also served as a team leader three shifts, leading a team of transporters and coordinating transport throughout the plant. Max worked at DHL Freight until March 2014.

After leaving DHL Freight, Max joined Varroc Lighting Systems in April 2014. Max initially worked as an internal logistic coordinator for DHL, managing material flows between production centers and warehouses. Max also oversaw storage and flows, created layouts, and ensured timely delivery of internal packages. In July 2017, Max was promoted to internal logistic leader, where they managed the entire internal logistic department. This role involved crisis management, production support, and coordination of non-standard situations. Max continued in this position until June 2018.

From June 2018 to August 2019, Max worked as the internal logistic department manager at TATRA TRUCKS a.s. Here, they led the internal logistics team and managed their day-to-day activities.

Max's most recent position is as the Chief Logistic Officer (CLO) at Skladon, starting from September 2019. As CLO, they oversee the logistics operations of the company, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Throughout their career, Max has gained extensive experience in logistics, warehouse management, transport coordination, and crisis management.

Max Kovář's education history begins in 1993 when they attended SPŠS-SOU Valašské Meziříčí. Max stayed there until 1998, during which they studied truhlářská pro výrobu nábytku (Carpenter for Furniture Manufacturing) and podnikání v oboru truhlář and výroba hudebních nástrojů (Entrepreneurship in Carpentry and Musical Instrument Manufacturing).

Max then pursued further education in 2018 at Logistická Akademie, where they focused on auditing logistics. Max completed their studies at this institution in 2019, earning a degree in Alog. (Auditor of Logistics).
