Skatium Assistant Manager at Skokie Park District

As the Skatium Assistant Manager, Luecke assists the Skatium Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Skatium facility. She is responsible for customer service, facility opening and closing, ice making, and operational problem solving. Luecke supervises part-time staff, including customer service coordinators, building supervisors, and skate guards, and assists with the training and evaluation of full-time staff. She works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the facility meets safety and cleanliness standards and addresses any necessary repairs. Luecke also supports figure skating and hockey programs, manages ice scheduling, and contributes to facility maintenance projects. Additionally, she oversees administrative tasks such as ice reservations and manages the Skatium’s web calendar, while ensuring the smooth execution of special events and safety protocols.
