Martinez, as a Park Specialist II, is responsible for overseeing and performing skilled and semi-skilled maintenance duties across park grounds, landscape areas, playgrounds, athletic fields, and facilities. Martinez operates a variety of equipment, including mowers, snowplows, chain saws, and more, ensuring efficient and safe operation. His duties also include preventive maintenance on equipment, repairs to park facilities, and ensuring the parks meet cleanliness and safety standards. He assists with special event set-ups, snow removal operations, and the preparation of athletic fields. Martinez also participates in landscape construction projects and installs park amenities like benches and tables.
Martinez spends his days off relaxing and unwinding. A fun fact about him is that he’s an avid soccer player. Family is his greatest priority, and he supports the Toluca FC Soccer Club. Martinez loves listening to Banda 3-80, Mexican Band.
