Skokie Park District
As the Human Resources Assistant, Maltos is responsible for assisting the Human Resource Director with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. She supports the department by handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations, maintaining and updating employee records, supporting payroll processing, and addressing employee inquiries. In addition, Maltos ensures compliance with labor laws, generates HR reports, and manages special projects as assigned.
Away from the office, Maltos loves hiking, swimming, or sitting outside with a good book. Although she enjoys visiting the ballparks of her two favorite baseball teams, the Chicago Cubs and LA Dodgers, she always makes it a point to do so with her family and two dogs. She enjoys listening to a variety of music, but her top genres include J-pop, country, nu metal (any rock), and Grupo Frontera.

The Skokie Park District takes pride in its ability to serve the more than 63,000 residents of Skokie, Illinois and its customers throughout Chicagoland. Whether protecting natural resources, preserving historical sites or providing thousands of unique recreational opportunities within its more than 240 acres of parkland, the district has offered a multitude of quality programs since 1928. In addition to its diverse array of programs and special events, the Skokie Park District also offers summer camps, state-licensed full-day childcare and preschool, and before- and after-school care for grades K-5. The district is a past winner of the “National Gold Medal for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.”
