Golf Operations Manager at Skokie Park District

The Golf Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, programs, promotions, maintenance, budgeting, and personnel at Skokie Sports Park and Weber Park Golf Course. In this role, Hejnowski manages the executive nine-hole golf course, pro shops, miniature golf, driving range, and batting cages. He is also responsible for planning and evaluating programs, scheduling and supervising staff, maintaining equipment, overseeing the TrackMan stations, and managing the golf lessons program. Additionally, Hejnowski fosters communication with patrons and groups while actively supporting special events such as the 4th of July and Backlot Bash, all while ensuring the facilities consistently uphold the highest standards of operation and service.

In his free time, Hejnowski is all about outdoor activities, embracing anything that gets him outside. He has a unique background, having spent eight years as a Chicago Fire Department Paramedic and also played semi-pro baseball. He can't get through the day without his caffeine fix and is a loyal White Sox fan. When it comes to music, Hejnowski’s taste is as diverse as his interests—he enjoys listening to a little bit of everything.
