Maria Bäcklin

Maria Bäcklin has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Maria began their career as a teacher in Lidingö Stad in 1986 and then worked as a teacher in Kumla kommun from 1988 to 1989. Maria then joined Örebro kommun and served as a teacher from 1989 to 1999. After that, they worked as a Deputy Principal in Nora kommun from 1999 to 2001. Maria then became a Principal in Örebro kommun from 2001 to 2012. Maria then moved on to Region Örebro län and held the position of Development Manager from 2012 to 2015. Later, they worked as the Head of Culture and Education at Lekebergs kommun from 2015 to 2018. Currently, Maria is appointed as the Director of Education at Skolverket since 2018.
