Lisa Friedland, PhD, is a seasoned technical advisor in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as a Technical Advisor at Skovinen since October 2021. Previous experience includes working as a Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Google, focusing on improving ad safety by enhancing classifiers through quality training data. At Northeastern University, Lisa held roles as an Associate Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Associate, contributing to significant projects related to movement patterns during COVID-19 and the quantification of fake news on Twitter during the 2016 election.
