Peter Kurkimaki has over 25 years of experience in the aquaculture industry, working as an Aquaculture Feed Specialist at Skretting since 1994, where significant advancements were made in operations and production efficiency. With a background as Quality Assurance Manager at Connors Bros., Peter developed expertise in seafood and feed processes. Peter’s work includes formulating extruded aquafeeds, addressing quality issues, managing local compliance with regulations, and contributing to global technical networks, leading to Skretting’s recognized market leadership in quality and customer satisfaction. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science from the University of Guelph and has undertaken part-time MBA studies at the University of New Brunswick.
