Michael Prokopchuk

Michael Prokopchuk is a Senior Software Developer at Inkren, Inc. (DBA Skritter) since March 2016, focusing on systems that enhance language learning. Prior to this role, Michael was a Software Developer at the same company, creating educational software for learning Chinese and Japanese on mobile and web platforms. From May 2012 to March 2016, Michael worked at 20-20 Technologies as a Software Developer, where the emphasis was on designing web and iPad applications with an MVC structure and front-end user interaction using Backbone technology. Earlier experience includes working as a Technical Animator at Peterson Design Studio from 2009 to 2012, specializing in modeling, animating, and compositing 2D and 3D visuals using Lightwave, Photoshop, and After Effects. Michael holds a BA in Film and Video with a focus on New Media and Animation, along with minors in Computer Science and Russian Studies from Grand Valley State University, and also attended National Taiwan Normal University in 2016.
