Sewell Chan

Sewell Chan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sewell is currently working as a Senior Engineering Manager at SKU IQ since January 2022. Prior to this, Sewell worked at Appetize, where they held multiple roles including Live Ops Lead/Engineering Manager from December 2018 to January 2022, iOS Lead in September 2018, and iOS App Developer from May 2017 to September 2018.

Before joining Appetize, Sewell worked at Disney as a Lead Software Engineer from October 2012 to May 2017. Prior to Disney, they worked at GOGII as a Software Engineer from March 2010 to October 2012, focusing on iOS and client-server development. Sewell also held the position of Head Geek at Bunny Bao from January 2009 to December 2010.

Earlier in their career, Sewell worked at Walt Disney Internet Group as a Software Engineer from September 2007 to December 2008. Sewell then joined Electronic Arts as a Software Engineer from February 2006 to September 2007, where they were involved in game development following the acquisition of Jamdat Mobile Inc. At Jamdat Mobile, Sewell served as a Lead Programmer from April 2005 to February 2006.

Sewell's work experience further includes a role as a Software Engineer at Blue Lava Wireless in 2003 and as a QA at Buckaroo from 2000 to 2002.

Sewell Chan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Sewell attended the university from 1999 to 2003.
