Abby June Richards, CPA-TX is the founder of The CPG CFO, LLC™, providing fractional CFO services to emerging consumer packaged goods companies since August 2023. Richards serves as a mentor for innovative brands in the pet, beauty, and food & beverage sectors through SKU and co-chairs the DFW CPG Huddle, facilitating growth-oriented educational virtual meetings. With over seven years of experience at RSM US LLP, Richards managed full-cycle accounting for various clients and led NetSuite client onboarding, earning recognition as a subject matter expert. Previous roles include senior consultancy focused on bookkeeping and tax returns at Pendas Wargo, office management at Dynamic Systems, and financial oversight at TNT Crane & Rigging. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce, a Professional Accountant Advanced Technical Certificate from Austin Community College, and an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Coastal Bend College.
