Lauren Reches

Lauren Reches has a diverse work experience, with a focus on the wine and hospitality industry. Lauren started their career in 2007 as a Server & Hostess at Tia Pol. From there, they worked their way up to become a Manager at the same restaurant. In 2011, they joined Boulud Sud as a Captain. Lauren then transitioned to the educational sector, serving as an Adjunct Professor of French at Baruch College in 2012, and as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Brooklyn College from 2008 to 2010. In 2012, they entered the wine industry as an NY/North East Sales representative at Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant. Lauren continued to progress in the wine industry, joining Skurnik Wines & Spirits in 2013 as an Assistant French Portfolio Manager. Over the years, they held various roles at Skurnik, including Assistant National Sales Manager and Sales Management - Communications Director. Their most recent role at Skurnik is National Sales Director, which they have held since October 2019.

Lauren Reches obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Studies from the University of Minnesota from 2004 to 2006. Lauren further pursued their education at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in French Studies from 2007 to 2017. In 2009, they acquired an Intermediate Certificate, though it is unclear in which field of study or institution they obtained this certificate.
