Alan Hughes

Alan Hughes is an experienced Service Technician at Sky Climber Renewables since June 2019, specializing in the maintenance and repair of wind turbines. Responsibilities include executing safe operational protocols, performing lock-out tag-out procedures, and conducting confined space entry. Alan has participated in multiple projects, primarily focused on blade repairs at various wind farms. Prior to this, Alan managed responsibilities as a stay-at-home parent while balancing part-time jobs, including roles in cooking and logistics. Previous experience also includes wind turbine technician roles at Cooke Electric, where Alan was involved in gearbox exchanges and other turbine maintenance activities. Certifications include High Angle Ladder Rescue and Confined Space Rescue. Alan has received training at Pinnacle Career Institute and Texas State Technical College.
